Monday, September 24, 2012 - Transparent ruby red. In the nose, it's darker than the 2010 with aromas of blackberries, but also light overtones of red currant and sour cherries. On the palate, it's quite full and - despite the lower alcohol as compared to the 2010 - stronger than the 2010. The finish, marked by silky tannins and light acidity, is remarkably long and has an incredibly fine minerality.
