Tuesday, April 17, 2018 - A flight of 09,10 and 11. The 09 initially showed a meaty, dark quality - it was frustratingly dense and dull but the pure, easy soft fruit of the 10, or the classic length, structure and balance of the 11 seemed more appealing. By the end of the night, the 09 caught up and passed them as it opened up, as it showed it has more depth than 10 and more appeal than the 11. A reminder of why we praise these warm vintages.
