Sunday, October 2, 2011 - Impression only from a few days ago; one word would be rustic. From the pop, intriguing nose, with lots of garrigue, that faded with air (the later nose wasn't as good). On the palate, tight with some stems and green pepper but a distinct note of red fruit. The whole time this was open, the palate felt a little hollow. After about an hour's air, it also became tight and less forgiving on the finish. For me, this isn't ready and I will try to remember (with CT help) not to open another for several years.
