Saturday, July 14, 2018 - Probably past its prime; maybe stored improperly—it tasted cooked in some ways. Very dark golden color, nose is oxidized and a bit stale with honey notes. Palate is lemony with strong honey notes but the finish is short and a little clumsy. Not bad but lacking the brightness and acidity to balance the sweetness and body that it’s still carrying.
