Saturday, March 12, 2022 - Very classic nose of blackcurrants, pencil shavings, oak, cigar box. Palate is still a little young, but a lovely depth of black fruit, good acidity, and spiced oak. The tannins are a liitle pronounced but the fruit more than compensates. The finish is nice and long with a sweet blackcurrant and spiced oak, a very enjoyable and solid wine from the appellation and when you consider the price around £36 to buy now @farrvintners stunning value.
