Wednesday, March 30, 2016 - Medium dark garnet. Ripe fruit, prune like nose with lots of fruit. It smelled more mature than it tasted. Medium bodied with drying tannin and structured acid, fruit, leather, and a hint of mellow herb or eucalyptus. Plums and raisin are dominant, but they yield to a slight tannic astringency. Opens and softens after about an hour. Complex and lovely.
