Saturday, September 23, 2023 - 4th Saturday Brown Bagger (EBCC): Double blind. Light color with a bit of bricking. The bouquet is a little port-like and a touch maderized as well. The palate starts off a bit tannic and austere with ripe, raisiny fruit underneath but as it opens the ripeness fades and the fruit becomes quite vibrant and enjoyable…less obviously ripe and raisined. To me this drank a bit like a mid-90s cab sauv. (MM)
