Tuesday, July 10, 2012 - Italy 2012 - Piemonte; 7/8/2012-7/14/2012 (La Morra): Tasted at the winery. Quite a plump and juicy nose with notes of red cherries, plums, licorice and a smoky floral aroma as well. Rich and open with cherry and licorice flavours with excellent acidity, firm but graceful tannins and a medium plus length finish. Needs 5+ years. Excellent. 90+
