Tuesday, August 2, 2022 - Tasted blind among 6 Nebbiolo’s at SKurtz’s place. I had this pegged as a modern style wine from Barolo but this seemed rather clumsy overall for me. It seemed to lack focus though it did have that Nebbiolo trypicity and a rich and bold structure and mouth feel. Nothing at all wrong with this wine but it may have been just a bit over oaked making it harder to discern its finer points. Not one of my favorites tonight.
