Saturday, July 26, 2014 - Peaches/stone fruit/melon and vanilla oak (and some sulfur) on the nose. Ripe peach/stone fruit. Good acidity upfront, ripe fruit sweetness in the middle, and a lingering citrus skin bitterness in the finish, along with some gravel dust. Strong legs with a viscous, nectar-like mouthfeel. A bit of a tongue burning harshness detracts from an otherwise fruity and luscious chardonnay.
