Monday, April 8, 2013 - Siduri/Novy at the Dallas Zoo (The Dallas Zoo, Giants of the Savannah Exhibit): Pretty much opaque dark garnet in the glass. Rather smoky and funky nose with a peppery nuance. On the palate this has a bit of tannin and more smoky dark fruit. I actually preferred the regular Napa Valley Syrah to the single vineyard version at this tasting.
