Monday, July 2, 2012 - Not sure I've ever had a galioppo vine wine before. The nose is big and round and fruity and tart all at once. The taste is rich and full with cassis and tobacco dominating and a basic spiciness. After 15 min of opening some serious tannins start to dominate the finish -- indicating this is still pretty young. A very pleasing delicious wine.
