Nose is dark, slight oaky with vanilla/tobacco and mocca berry qualities. Palate is full bodied and rich with fruit. Not over the top "syrupy" but approaching that. Fruit is as on the nose. Acid and tannins are light and overall the experience is more of a smooth one, even before you pair with food (would suggest a little heavier/complex fare).

Is around 22$ CAN @ MLCC. Good value for this rich somewhat complex wine if that is the style you like. A good one for the winter season.
