Friday, September 10, 2021 - Opened 1 hour before dinner. Immediately, the nose is appealing showing precise mineral, red fruit, violet, fennel, cut flowers, and baking spices that comes across very energetic in the senses.

In the mouth, the wine is presented on a gentle frame displaying lovely precision of lively red and black cherry fruit delicately balanced by plenty of mineral/graphite flavors mid-palette. The finish is ethereal and fresh when the red fruits also mix with slightly bitter stone fruit pits and earthy flavors. Excellent length.

Overall, the wine is hitting on all cylinders right now and needed that decade in the bottle to come together, but also may continue to benefit with more time in the bottle as there are no signs of fading. Incredible QPR at $20 US dollars. Drink now -2026.

9/10/2021 5:28:00 PM - Great review here - when young, this wine is very bitter. Glad to see it tames with age and actually comes together! (We were eating boar that Xmas, so it worked)

You just never know sometimes... I mean, how many wines are made with Teroldego grapes anyway, right?

    Keep up the fine writing.

    Thanks for the feedback, cheers.
