Opened 1 hour before dinner. Immediately, the nose is appealing showing precise mineral, red fruit, violet, fennel, cut flowers, and baking spices that comes across very energetic in the senses.
In the mouth, the wine is presented on a gentle frame displaying lovely precision of lively red and black cherry fruit delicately balanced by plenty of mineral/graphite flavors mid-palette. The finish is ethereal and fresh when the red fruits also mix with slightly bitter stone fruit pits and earthy flavors. Excellent length.
Overall, the wine is hitting on all cylinders right now and needed that decade in the bottle to come together, but also may continue to benefit with more time in the bottle as there are no signs of fading. Incredible QPR at $20 US dollars. Drink now -2026.
Weekly tasting group #155; Classical Europe (@ MM): The bouquet is not very expressive, but shows some dark berries and chocolate. On the palate juicy dark berries and cherries, herbs and spices, vanilla and chocolate. Firm acidity, some bitterness and tannin with still a firm bite. Early maturity now.

Served with grilled london broil, corn, tomato/basil salad. Decanted 30 mins. Dark red, moderate to full body, aged red fruit, very nice earth/mineral base with hints of spice and fresher fruit, cherry, in palate and nose. Moderate long finish. Excellent with food. as another review said, savory. Not dense or chewy. Can age further, and will be interesting to see outcome. Will buy more.

darker in colour than I remember. Nose opens slowly, first impression of darik fruit, then you get a more earthy impression. Mouthfeel has a nice graininess to it, giving the wine some structure. Evens out well in the finish and definitely a wine I would recommend.

Poured 1 hour after opening. Dark, but clear red. Good aromas. Medium bodied with pronounced fruit; rather refreshing. Faded on second night, leaving mostly hot finish.

PnP. Smells like dark berries, cinnamon, sap/pine, garden soil, tar; a bit liqueurlike, but with a fresh streak. On the palate, tart juicy berries with their seeds, spicy, sappy, a bit earthy and tarry, with some savoriness, and grippy tannins. Good acidity. Light-medium bodied, but quite assertive flavorwise. Clipped finish, although some minerality and mild bitterness develop and linger for a bit.
When first opened this was a bit rough, but characterful and enjoyable. With a couple hours of air, it gets more cohesive and balanced, and smoother and richer in texture. On the nose, the sappiness becomes more overtly herbaceous, green, and piney, meshing well with the cinnamonlike spiciness. My first Teroldego; blind, I might have guessed old vine Carignan. Good stuff; certainly sparks my curiosity about the grape and makes me want to try the producer's vineyard specific wines.

As another TN says, the aromas are very Chianti-like: cherry, blueberry, earth, baking spices. Also blackberry, brambles, floral. Nice minerality and lots of tart cherry. High acidity, medium body, medium- tannins, medium (13%) alcohol, medium+ finish. On the palate, with the cherry, earthiness, minerality, this is similar to a village level burgundy. My first Teroldego, but definitely seems as advertised, and as typical for a cooler climate red - heavy on acidity & minerality; tart fruit; lean but nicely structured. Very nice!

Similar to previous note. Not as much length as I remember, but very distinctive, charming and (dark, almost bitter) fruit-focused. Great style and class.

Bring on Spring parties ...: Aromatic, balanced, and elegant, with a subtle sandalwood and rose petal nose and a structured palate of fine tannis, delicate acidity and crushed berry fruit flavors. A good wine to sip at the start of a meal.

At first it reminded me of Chianti, with distinct cherry, blueberry and sweet spices. In the mouth however it feels quite different, very clean and almost crispy, even though it retains a good structure. Acidity is pronounced while tannins are a little bit on the low side. A pure fruity wine which manages to be pleasant without becoming too powerful or flamboyant. Not much complex but very enjoyable.

Weekly tasting group #108; Biological wines (@ CvR): Concentrated bouquet with dark berries like blackberries. On the palate also a concentrated wine with red and dark berries, herbs, leather. a firm amount of sweetness, firm acidity and round tannin with still some bite.

91-92. Louis/Dressner Selection. Organic, biodynamic & natural yeasts. The floral nose just jumps out of the glass. Used Coravin system to pour a glass. After 1.5 hours it was singing. Very harmonious and long finish. Nice red fruit, good depth, long, long finish. Beautiful wine. At this price point a total steal. I would decant or drink over a long meal. Though delicious upon first pour, it really got great as the night wore on. This could be my house wine at this price. I'll be buying more.

Musty fruit on the nose. Scant fruit in the mouth, fading to earthiness and very strong funk, almost sweat. Long finish. "Perplexing" is what she said. Undrinkable on its own, it really shined next to a fried rabbit leg with a fairly acidic mustard sauce. Reminded me of a CA Charbono I had a few weeks ago... "sweaty".

Not sure if this was an off bottle or what, but I found none of the juicy, vibrant fruit of the 09 that I had last year. This was quite tight and dense. Some dark syrah-like fruit and grippy tannins. Left most of the bottle out over the course of three days to see if it loosened up or evolved, but it didn't, just slowly fell apart. Disappointing because I really liked the previous vintage.
Youthful and vibrant. Rather Like Syrah. Fine balance. Manages to be deep but not especially complex. Transformation over an hour plus heightened the nose and suggests room for improvement. A pleasure to drink and better with roasted beef ribs.

Tastes like it doesn't aim to please the mass market, but would rather express place and grape with authenticity, flaws and all. Rustic and acidic pair it with tomato dishes.

Opaque and very dark; nose has a modern polished feel to it with dark fruit, possibly a little young; palate is soft and generous with tart dark fruit, and a distinct granite minerality on the finish; some were on Cab which I could see but the acid was too high; loved the drinkability of this- kept going back to it; also noted that it tasted like a much more expensive bottle so this may be a great QPR even though price has risen 40% over the past year.

I love this wine. For me, one of the most notable feature is its soft, rich texture. It has a distinct flavor profile (my first Teroldego, so not sure if it's typical), and is definitely "present." It feels like a complete wine that has been brought up well and is now ready to show itself. Drinking beautifully now, though I understand her wines can age well too. Worth noting that this is a biodynamic wine and is unfiltered (though it threw very tiny amounts of sediment for us). I would by a case of this wine at the right price. Truly lovely stuff, and not crazily priced at ~$20/bottle.

Deeply colored. Very Italian nose in its substantial volatile acidity. Dark and brooding, black fruit and anise, medium weight, some tannin. Simple at present and prickly mouth feel. Hard to predict whether this will improve.

Drunk over dinner, no TN. Dark ruby, slightly hazy. Cherries and herbs on the nose. Fresh and drinks very well, with medium body and good fruit intensity, but savory and mineral too. My first Teroldego Foradori and I liked it.

I ordered this off the menu last night at Sepia, and had them decant. Not a complicated wine, but earthey, and juicy with ample fruit, that paired well with our steaks with maitake mushrooms, and a truffle custard. The finsh was short but i really enjoyed it.

Retailer tasting: The bouquet is still a bit reticent. On the palate a lot of ripe dark fruits, some red fruits as well, licorice, herbs and spices and supple tannin. A pleasant and juicy wine. Give it a few more years of bottle ageing. 86+
