92 Points

Saturday, December 3, 2011 - P&P. Side by side with a 93 Talley Rosemary's pinot. No comparison. This swelled as the Talley faded in the glass. Excellent nose of baked black cherry and earth - what I associate with a classic Chambolle profile, and the palate was deep and rich, especially for a 97. As a basic villages, this didn't have that extra dimension or site definition, but really quite good. This is singing now and will be for another 5 years or so, but I'd drink up. Outstanding.
