Friday, October 30, 2015 - Beautiful color but lighter. Very red. Scented with red fruit. The wine is different from the preceding Barolo, the 1997 Fratelli Giacosa. The Fontanafredda is lighter and prettier. The wine has a nice rosy feel to it offering scented enjoyment in a lighter format. Beautiful in very way. Last bottle. Bought it in Winnipeg at Fenton's about 20 years ago. $14 then! Great bottle.
