Sunday, May 5, 2013 - I haven't had many of Morgans reds but I am a fan of his rose and whites. I only had a small glass of this but I enjoyed the mix of red and black fruits, the spices, the acidity and the restraint. Not a big overripe and huge zin which is a good thing in my book. The wine is not extremely complex but I was pleased with it overall given the price. Is this a good representation of his style of reds or just a result of the cold 2011 vintage? I'm looking forward to finding out.
