Saturday, August 27, 2016 - Nice aussie chardonnay. Quite rich without being really heavy. On the palate Apple, pear and grapefruit. Some tropical fruit aswell. Oak is pretty subtle for aussie chardonnay. Good wine. Definately has enough live in it to last at least 3 more years. Maybe more. I' ve seen people compare this to burgundy. I don't agree the richness betrays its new world origin. It is however not a typical new world chardonnay. This is more subdued. Although i think I don't see myself empty a bottle of this wine in one night. Still pretty enjoyable stuff.
