Wednesday, June 28, 2017 - Beautiful nose of eucalyptus and blackberries. Silky and so perfectly mature on the palate. Less powerful now and all about finesse with a wonderfully pungent taste of sweet eucalyptus along with flavors of black licorice and black currants. Finishes soft and ultra-complex with wonderful earth and spice notes. This doesn't have the power of the '74 but it comes damn close to that wine's complexity. Fabulous!
