Tuesday, March 6, 2007 - Forward, spicy, buttery oak over black currant fruit with a slight mushroom note. Ripe and dry, creamy and glycerined palate with firm, spicy tannins and a long, toasty finish.

I have wine crates filled with 20 years of paper-and-pen tasting notes; I decided to switch to a digital platform last year and use CellarTracker to keep my notes handy. When I have spare time I have been adding the highlights from past tastings and back-dating the notes for reference.
