Wednesday, August 12, 2020 - Medium-dark ruby with some garnet, pale rim, some initial slight browning signs of development. Lovely bouquet of liquor cherries, musk, just-ripe blackberry and cassis, slight spice. Palate consistent, lovely fruit-driven characters, still juicy but with initial secondary savoury characters proving complexity, fine tannins proving slight pleasant grip. Medium finish, medium alcohol (turns out to be 13.5%). Delicious, perfect drinking now and for next few years. 94/100.
