Saturday, June 24, 2017 - Winos' excellent adventure in France; 6/22/2017-6/27/2017 (All over France): Beautiful nose displaying decadent red fruit, raspberry, cherry, a hint of blackberry, noticeable sous bois developing but still not too strong, caramel, sweet spices, cedar, sap and mineral. Excellent concentration, beautifully layered, silky and polished, perfect amount of acidity and mineral, and a love long raspberry and caramel driven finish. Drinking beautifully but will improve for at least another decade, gaining sous bois and perhaps grilled meat/porcini. Excellent showing.
