Sunday, February 1, 2015 - Contino mini vertical: Today I liked it more than '81 and '82. Softer body, leaner and more silky, spicy-herbal-pickle notes, smoked meats. This had a pleasant food feeling to it, like you are eating, not drinking a wine. There were some stewed fruits and coffee. With time it developped a note of smoked pickle. Excellent.

2/10/2015 12:23:00 PM - Wow!! From Contino's golden age: 1974-76-78-80-81-82... I love this wine but I have to confess that I especially admire 81. Last saturday we drank Franco-Españolas Diamante 1955. There is no way to describe it. It was simply incredible. A perfect wine. Regards!!
