Wednesday, May 7, 2014 - 40% Mourvèdre, 30% Grenache, 20% Syrah, 10% Counoise. Mourvèdre is farmed Biodynamically. Potpourri aromas, finesse, still...selected lots for intensity. Lots of mineral. 14.5%, and a very old world appeal. Raspberry, exotic pepper, grilled meat (not too overt), this has the acid of the red cuvées for sure. Dried flower on the palate is so distinctive. A very impressive wine. The palate is more enjoyable than it is cocked and loaded for the only future pleasure.
