Friday, March 16, 2018 - Pear and preserved pineapple in a buttery, creamy package but not as overtly oaked as I recall from a late 2016 tasting. Not complex, and not spectacular in any way but a great match for my food today - cod pan-fried in butter with crispy bacon and dill-seasoned potato mash with beurre noisette. Good wine and what I wanted when I reached for but there are as good or better Bourgogne Blancs for less money.
