Thursday, October 22, 2015 - 18 years old and surprisingly nice, but it needs to be decanted for about an hour since the opening flavors are pretty tart. But once it has had a chance to breathe, the wine opened up and still had some soft fruit. Not a big wine, but what do you expect after 18 years? I had it with some beef and then the wine truly became enjoyable. I don't think this wine can take much more time, regardless of how you store it, so for those in the community with the wine in storage, I suggest drinking it now.
