Monday, September 14, 2020 - Wow, this is right in my sweet spot of a wine that makes me do a Snoopy, with feet gyrating and a smile to the sky. This was a bottle I had to buy, upon visiting them for the first time , and having to pack the very substantial glass punted bottle in my suitcase home. But worth it. The nose is cassis like, but upon tasting, the flavor of makaresca cherry is so prominent and unlike any wine Ive tasted before. It's been open a couple of days and still remarkable. At it's peak now, but think it's still got a number of years left to run, reflecting other reviewers comments, in contrast to the CT published window.
