Wednesday, April 20, 2022 - Early dinner gathering (Blacksalt, Washington DC): Expressive decadent nose displaying rich tropical yellow fruit, starfruit, pineapple, dry yellow peach, honey, caramel, sweet spices, lanoline, oyster shell and limestone. Excellent concentration, layers upon layers of sweet yellow fruit, rich, dense, deeply toned, and oily, medium acidity, strong mineral, and a long sweet yellow fruit driven finish with sweet spices and oyster shell at the end. Although very ripe, it shows fairly good balance.
