Friday, January 10, 2020 - There are some enthusiastic notes on the 1990 Clerc Milon out there and I regret that mine cannot be one of them. Though this shows a classic redcurrant, cedar, leather, the aromatic volume is turned down and the palate is subdued and faded. Fresh, more intense versions of this could be great but this may simply reflect one data point in the evolution of this wine suggesting a trend towards decline.
