Friday, November 7, 2014 - Eight decades of Château-Chalon (back to 1934) with Jean-Francois Bourdy: Jean-Francois called this the best vintage of the 20th century. This is the third year in a row getting to try this wine... awesome. The aromas were rich, offering caramel notes. Really smooth and lovely, with light pine notes. Soft and elegant palate, smooth and soft. Really mellow and rich. Rich and buttery, quite smooth. Unfortunately not as much depth as the previous years.
