Sunday, October 26, 2008 - Poderi Aldo Conterno Tasting (B-21s in Tampa): Sat in glass for two hours.
Light ruby/brick color. Bright cherries and a little mint on the nose. More fruit driven wine than the 1999, mostly cherries... Medium+ body, medium+ tannin, medium+ acid. Long finish, but simple wine. Winemaker said it was a more "charming" vintage, not my style.
