Friday, November 5, 2010 - A year ago, I thought this wine was "tired". Four months ago, I thought it might be getting its second wind. This time around, it showed better than it ever has. Although my judgment obviously cannot be trusted, it appears to me that it's at (or approaching) its peak. Cassis, vanilla, and mostly plums. Solid Napa cab on the palate, with a long, fruity finish. Very well balanced at this stage, with enough remaining tannins to keep it going for a while longer.
