Friday, September 29, 2023 - I think this has several years left before any decline. Both my wife and I almost simultaneously said to each other, "This wine is intense!" It's hard to describe why, but the flavors were...I don't know how else to say it, but intense. The nose initially had a slight poopy edge that blew off, and I think was its age showing. Zippy cherry and marionberry notes with a long finish. No tannins, but a lively mouthfeel for sure. Very good and would have been better with food, but we drank this solo.
