I think this has several years left before any decline. Both my wife and I almost simultaneously said to each other, "This wine is intense!" It's hard to describe why, but the flavors were...I don't know how else to say it, but intense. The nose initially had a slight poopy edge that blew off, and I think was its age showing. Zippy cherry and marionberry notes with a long finish. No tannins, but a lively mouthfeel for sure. Very good and would have been better with food, but we drank this solo.

Dark pomegranate from the core to the rim. Sweet cherry, pomegranate, cola, maybe a touch of Dr. Pepper, vanilla and a lingering, smokey finish. Wonderfully balanced. This wine has hit a sweet spot. No sediment. 13% alc. With pan seared duck under a wine sauce on a blustery, snowy day. 03.12.22. Recommended.

This is entering its drinking window. That lovely Belle Pente perfume wafts out of the glass with slightly spiced red cherry and incense. On the palate, it's concentrated strawberry rhubarb tart, with pleasant acidity and a bit of earthiness. Delicious, and will continue to develop, but it's great now.
