Saturday, December 29, 2018 - 14.5% alcohol, thin to medium-weight foil, composite cork, fast legs, dark red/black; vinturied, tasted at room temperature (23 degrees C); nose of alcohol, traces of cinnamon and cherries; tasting revealed notes of cherries, celery, earth; full bodied; the original tannins were doubtless softened by aging, the medium finish was bright with citrus and a little non-citrus sourness; pair with rare steak, like filet mignon
