Still quite purple, nose "grapey" with notes of ripe raisin fruit (15% alcohol wasn't a surprise). On the palate it was dark red fruits and mushrooms. No hint of barrel finishing. Finish was smooth, calm and dull. Interesting and pleasant enough but nothing to suggest I will buy and cellar more except for something different to serve to my geeky wine friends.
