Sunday, July 20, 2014 - Really a step above your typical value priced California Cabernet. When we poured into the decanter there was a slight amount of green pepper with briny olive, wet tobacco and red raspberry. The color is dark, with a nice magenta rim. Not quite full bodied, but basically complete. The entry has a graphite, grainy influence to some decent dried crushed blackberry fruit. There is a light herbal influence and a touch of charred wood flavor. Very clean and soft on the palate with a mysterious sort of quick disappearing finish.
