This wine was one of the 2-3 favorites from 11 blind tasted reserve wines, including a CDP Beaucastel & Don Melchor!! It is aromatic and very smooth. It changed and improved continuously for four hours. Red to black fruits with spice, anise, and menthol notes. The tannins have softened, but it still has some shelf life. A wonderful dry red from Portugal. in 2005 it was #27 in the WS Top 100.
