Tuesday, February 18, 2020 - The Pope's Chateau (Casa Covolo): Cloudy red ruby in color. Dark cherry nose with faint animal fur (in a good way). On the palate, some grittier tannins that don't detract from the finish, flavors of black raspberry on a medium + finish. This continued to get better as the night went on. Finished tied for 4th out of 5.
