Monday, February 15, 2016 - I drank this in two sittings, and the time to breath made a world of difference.
When I first opened it, there wasn't a lot on the nose, and to me the palate was dominated by cocoa, with vanilla on the finish.
Drinking it today, a day later, it's almost a different wine.
The nose is strong black cherry, and the cocoa note is still on the palate, but it goes well with the new fruit.
Overall, very pleasant, smooth, drinkable wine. One negative is a bit of an odd butterscotch aftertaste.
