Thursday, October 4, 2018 - Dark in color, not showing any age. Started out a little shy in the nose,Over the first hour, it opened nicely. Black cherry, blackberry, earth, a hint of chocolate and leather. Similar flavors. Medium bodied. Nice smooth finish with silky tannins. Beautiful balance. In a really good place now. I have 3 bottles left and will open them over then next decade, but expect the wine to last longer than that.
