Friday, January 24, 2014 - Classic Griffin's Layer fruit, reminds me of some of Pax's old bottles. As others have said, it's a bit lighter in body, I'm guessing more to do with the 2011 vintage, most wines so far have had very enjoyable fruit and a more elegant body. Medium length, very clean fruit profile which I love, the tannins are not aggressive and with a light decant can be drunk right away. As always Morgan makes some very good wines.
