Sunday, November 13, 2022 - Opened 4 hours in advance. No decanting, just opened the shoulder.

The nose is intense, alluring with mature blackberry, black cherry a hint of liqorice and mint.

Well balanced and velvety in the mouth, good acidity and a good presence of tannins, though a bit dusty. Long.

For my taste it is in the ideal drinking window but those who prefer tannins that don't stand out should wait as the acidity gives headroom to more years of cellaring.
