Saturday, July 2, 2016 - I knew I'd like it, but didn't know I'd love it. Prior to this bottle I hadn't been impressed by other '05 Champagnes. The Comte BdB always delivers for me, and this was no exception. All about complexity and less so fruit. Smoke, minerals; very balanced, with some citrus and orchard fruit thrown in. Wow.
