Sunday, February 28, 2010 - Chianti Blind at the Wine Club (The Wine Club, Santa Ana): Served blind. Big concentrated nose that shows ripe and rustic. Overall the palate was on the tight side but it did show off good wine making and pedigree. Juicy and balanced with ripe fruit and a classic profile. There was just something pretty and lovely about this one overall. Hard to pinpoint but that is what often makes an excellent wine. Should get better also. Easily the best wine on the day for me.

3/4/2010 3:39:00 PM - I really like this too. Just had a bottle a while back. I should hold the rest I have for a little while but it just seems like I have to have it because it is so very good with food.
