Saturday, April 20, 2024 - Purchased this magnum at a Napa tasting room in 2012 and stored properly since. This needed about 30 minutes to fully open up. Velvety plush fruits up front led into a decently balanced wine with a nice finish. This was certainly in its prime and best consumed within the next few years. I was pleasantly surprised how good this was. It started to fade somewhat around hour 3. This paired well with northern Italian cuisine.
