Bam_Man Does not like this wine:

Thursday, April 30, 2015 - Closed, thin and quite austere - both on the nose and palate, which was surprising - especially for this vintage. The heavy-handed oak treatment totally dominates whatever black cherry and dark currant fruit character there is. Maybe I drank this too soon and it would have been better with another few years of cellar time. In any event, rather unimpressive. Hard to believe Ornellaia would put their name on something as undistinguished as this. Memo to self: avoid second (and third) wines of prestige labels from now on.
