It had no bad taste, but it really had not much taste at all. Nose had a bit of sweet pepper, but not a lot going on. I eventually had the wine open for an hour and sat down and could really taste it. The tastes were subtle, like reduced capers, sweet peppercorns, earthy - tobacco tastes. Perhaps it was the time resting, or just that I paid more attention.
