Saturday, July 20, 2019 - Shows the cooler side of medoc. not a terribly expressive wine at this point. it's most likely well past its prime. Little of the earthy aromas I look for in older Medoc wines more like a faint wild rose.The tannins are soft and pleasant and, surprisingly, the palate shows more intensity than the nose suggested. Not that far removed from its prime. Drink up though.
